Anywhere that's everywhere. She thought as she gazed up at the sky. As the bus neared, she picked up her bags. The bus doors open with a high squeak and an old bus driver. As she stepped onto the bus, the bus driver looked at her skeptically.
"Aren't you a little young to be traveling alone?"
Was it the girly dress her grandma gave her that gave it away? Or was it the baby face she was born with? She showed him her ID. The bus driver looked skeptically at the ID for a few moments.
"Alright, I believe you. Now pay."
She paid the one fifty. Rip off. She thought as she heard the money go into the machine.
She looked down the bus to find it almost empty. There was an old grandpa sleeping in the front of the bus, a guy that looked like a hobo reading a newspaper, and a mom trying to calm down her child in the back.
She took a seat in the back of the bus next to a window. She placed her bag on the seat next to her. She gazed out of the window.
       "Where are you going?"
She looked next to her to find the child staring up at her.
She looked like she was six years old at most. She had one of those pink girly flower dresses on. She has blonde hair pigtails with little pink flower hair ties. Her blue eyes stared curiously at her.
She smiled "I'm going to see someone special."
"Do you like them a lot?" she asked curiously.
"Of course I do." She replied "Where are you going?"
"I'm going to see grandma with mommy!" the little girl made a joyful smile as she said that. "We're going to make cookies! And we're sleeping over too!"
The girl laughed. "That's great; you must really love your grandma."
"Yup! She's the best! She makes the bestest cookies in the world!" The little girl paused "Is your special someone like my grandma?"
        She thought for a moment.
"Yes they're very much like your grandma." She said with a sad smile.
"Mary, stop bothering the young lady." They both looked up to see a young woman in her late twenties. A brunette, blue eyes like Mary.
"Mommy, I'm not botherin' her. Were just talking."
"She's not bothering me at all;" she smiled "she's a pleasure to talk to."
"That's good to know." She patted Mary's head. "We're about to get off Mary."
Mary looked at her mother. Then back at the girl. "What's your name?"
        "My name's Ann." Ann replied.
"Say bye to Ann, Mary" Mary's mom said as she started to go back to her seat.
"Good bye" Mary waved her hand as she followed her mom. Ann waved back and smiled.
The bus slowed down to the next stop. Ann watched as Mary and her mom walked out of the bus. Mary was holding her moms hand and looked around curiously. Mary's hand looked small compared to her mother's hand. Mom… Ann thought. Ann realized she was staring, she looked away.
The bus doors closed with a loud squeak. As the bus started to move, Ann watched through the window. Ann watched as the houses and buildings all merged together with the buses movement. All the colors mixed together and merging to make one big blob. Like someone poured paint onto a big canvas and all the colors mixed together to make new colors.
Ann rested her head on the window. She thought for a moment, then took out a locket and opened it. Inside was a young woman in her twenties. She had on a summer hat and dress. Ann smiled a sad smile as she stared at the picture.

"Anywhere that's everywhere."
I did this for english... and now Sara wants me to put it up here >_>

We had a project to do a story with one word from this one website. The word was Anywhere.

I like how I wrote this, so does my teacher. I think it's the best thing I've written :D

It's long though. If you read the whole thing you get a cookie :P

I get a cookie! :D

The buildup here is just great--every line I feel like I keep expecting something...something...something... I kept reading and was like, "When's the hammer gonna fall?" And then, instead of a hammer, we get a cloud burst making us think and feel and reflect. Wonderful work.
Say hi to Sara, lol.
